Add Orders for Windows as Scheduled Task

Please, note, for the scheduled task installation your PC should meet the following technical requirements:

1. Orders for Windows must be installed on host.

2. The Host should run on Windows XP.

 

Scheduled task installation

1. Open the Scheduled Tasks

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks

2. Ensure hidden files are visible

Go to Tools > Folder options

 

Go to the View tab and check Show hidden files and folders box, then click Apply and click Ok

 

3. Add a Scheduled Task

Double click on Add Scheduled Task

Click Next

Click Browse

Browse to My Computer > Local Disk > Documents and Settings > Your username > Local Settings > Application Data > Mobi2Go

Select launcher and click Open

Select Daily and then click Next

Set the start time to 12:00 AM, then select Every Day and click Next

Enter the password you use to log into Windows and then click Next

Check Open advanced properties for this task when I click finish box and click Finish

If you get the error message as below, you can discard it and click OK

The advanced settings will now open.

Check the Run only if logged in box and click Apply. Then go to the Schedule tab

Make sure your settings match the screenshot below and click Advanced

Check the Repeat Task box and ensure the settings are matching the screenshot below and click OK

Click Apply and then click OK

The task is now created. It will take at most 5 minutes to run.

Last Result 0x0 confirms that it’s correctly configured

You can test the task by closing Mobi2Go Orders for Windows application. If the task was installed correctly, it will come back up in 5 minutes at most.
